Bwin Digital wanted to create and develop an igame involving Geometry and Robots. The pyramid drops down out of view and comes back up with a new configuration of cubes. Wins are generated when groups of cubes of the same colour appear. Scatter cubes and special robot cubes will occasionally appear in the pyramid in place of standard cube.

Client: Bwin Ltd.
Brief: Create a game involving Geometry and Robots.
Team: Eduardo Armentia (Lead Creative), Kane Burton and Patrick Beirne.
It all started with research into geometric patterns, isometric perspectives, and the work of Dutch artist Maurits Cornelis Escher. I then explored different configurations and movement through hand-drawn sketches. The game mechanics are based on a pyramid that drops out of view and reappears with a new arrangement of cubes. Wins occur when groups of cubes of the same color align. Here are some images showcasing the creative development from scratch, including my sketches, mood boards, and 3D work.
