“Village Life: Small Touches, Big Experiences”

A game about village life, brought to life through thoughtful design, subtle animations, and player-first thinking, where small touches created big experiences.

Deeper Play, Natural Flow

Working closely with the Creative Director, we crafted a mechanic where each villager’s basic needs: warmth, food, water, affection were visualised as icons orbiting around them. As players fulfilled these needs, the icons faded and a sun quietly rose in the background, symbolising harmony and progress. Once balance was achieved, a gentle burst of XP was released and drawn into the shrine, turning care into growth, and routine into ritual.

Video Flurry

I conceived and implemented this feature with the goal of integrating advertising into the game's medieval world in a natural, story-driven way. Instead of a generic ad button, I designed a puppet show experience that felt authentic to the village setting. This creative approach not only enhanced immersion, it became a major monetization success, generating significant revenue and exceeding expectations.

Wheel Of Fortune

Designed as a light, engaging feature to boost player retention, the Wheel of Fortune offered daily rewards through a randomized spin mechanic. Its colorful, animated presentation made it a popular touchpoint that encouraged players to return regularly and stay connected to the game.

Maybe Baby

Contributed to the design and development of this playful, interactive mechanic that lets players “try for a baby.” I proposed a lighthearted animation — tapping the Love Shack triggers heart effects and fun visual cues — to make the process feel joyful and charming while staying true to the game’s tone and world.
